marked to lock plate along with GR and crown. A rare pistol with
safety mechanism. Said to be one of 900 supplied to the Austrian
Cavalry as they specified a safety mechanism that allows the pistol
to to be armed with a percussion cap in the half cock position. Also
fitted with swivel type ram rod Marked 67 to the barrel and
breech. To the aft of the grip stamped in the wood is 967. The
trigger guard is marked KU n94, probably an initial and unit mark.
Regulation brass butt plate and trigger guard. 577 bore. Excellent
condition and ideal for any collection. This antique gun is
chambered for an obsolete cartridge, therefore it may, by virtue of
section 58(2) of the 1968 Firearms Act, be freely possessed within
the UK, provided that it is sold, transferred, purchased, acquired
or possessed as a curiosity or ornament. Delivery arranged.
