Superbly converted to the classic Rover V8 engine fed by a Holly carburetor and fired by electronic ignition. Exhaust gases are passed though the 8 branch manifold out through a custom made stainless steel exhaust system. Power is delivered through a 5 speed short stroke gear box and the brakes and suspension have been uprated to cope with the extra performance from the V8 motor. Beautifully engineered and the whole car is superb.

Originally supplied by Minster Jaguar of York  and known by myself  from the 2nd owner onwards. A really beautiful example with excellent bodywork in the classic shade of Jaguar Racing Green with contrasting chamois hide interior which is unmarked. The woodwork is also superb and has not delaminated. The demon rust has been kept at bay by fastidious owners who have wax oil treated the underside of the Jaguar for years. On the road I rate these as the best sports saloon of its era. Smooth, powerful and excellent handling. I think you can tell I like them!

This example carries two 'Établissement Général du Matériel du Mans' plaques indicating that it was used by the French Armed Forces and rebuilt in July 1950.
