World War 2 British Fighter Pilots Flying Jacket - The ex-property of Sqd Ldr P F Illingworth 39529. Serving in 74 and 112 squadrons amongst others. Shot down in a MKIII Kitty Hawk attacking E boats in Yugoslavia. Hit by AA fire and landed near Trogir on the 22nd of March 1944 returning back to his squadron uncaptured in April 1944. This I am sure is just the tip of this pilots adventure. Sqd Ldr  Peter Illingworth had a long and distinguished career in the RAF retiring on the 16th of April 1958. Superb original fighter pilots jacket with history - £550
