1981
Porsche 924 Martini Special - Made to replica Porsches race
victories in the 1970's and 80's. This example has been totally
rebuilt to concours standard and it is supplied with a photographic
record of the work carried out upon the car plus invoicing in excess
of £20,000. The engine was rebuilt by Porsche just over 800 miles
ago in 2008 at a cost of £4,800. The Porsche retains its original
engine to the chassis and in total the car has covered 89,000 miles
which is documented but irrelevant as the Porsche has been rebuilt.
Upgrades include Twin race 45 Webers fitted, inertia fuel cut off
switch fitted, brakes uprated to Carrera GT
specification, suspension upgraded to 944, anti-roll bar and 4 Gaz
shock absorbers fitted, suspension brace, 5 stud lightweight Porsche
wheels, rear competition wings, rear spoiler, alloy fuel filler
neck, turbo bonnet and many more superb details. I can only say the
detail finish in this Porsche is credit to its restorer. Much of the
work being carried out by Porsche main agents. Even the suspension
arms are stove enameled! If you want a classic Porsche that's fun to
drive as well as looking outstanding then this will be for you. MOT
tested for one year and delivery arranged. Exceptional Porsche.
