Depicting a charming scene of period gentleman with rifle and his
hunting dogs. Very well painted. The scene is said to be in the
grounds of Haddon Hall in Derbyshire and the painting itself is said
to have come from Haddon Hall at some time. Very nice period
painting presented in it's period frame believed correct.

hexagonal rifled barrel - 5 Shot Revolver. Two line manufacturer
address with rose wood grip. Presented in beautiful condition and

It
was sometimes referred to as the "Common Socket Bayonet", as nearly
every infantryman used it. Overall Length: 20.4 inches Blade Length:

Military Rifle In 1884, the design of the Mauser Model 71 was
updated with an 8-round tubular magazine designed by Alfred von
Kropatschek, making this Germany's first repeating rifle. This
version was designated the Gewehr 71/84. The Gewehr 71 was
replaced by the Model 1888 Commission Rifle (designated Gewehr
88) starting in 1888.
This
is an early series number nickel plated example and the frame
revolver and barrel are all in very good condition. Comes complete
with case and some tools. Iconic revolver used by western
legends, like Belle Starr and John Wesley Hardin. Ideal in any
collection and superb investment.
